If anxiety, panic or overthinking is affecting your everyday life, hypnotherapy can help you feel calmer, more in control and more confident. I work with adults and teenagers in Rickmansworth, Watford and across Hertfordshire, as well as online throughout the UK.
When your mind won’t switch off, your body feels constantly on alert or panic seems to appear from nowhere, it can be exhausting. Personalised hypnotherapy can help you feel calmer, safer, steadier and more in control.
“We instantly clicked. I felt understood, listened to and completely at ease. After every session I left feeling lighter. Gina has genuinely changed my life and I finally feel like me again.”
— Lucyana
Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, overthinking, physical panic, dread, difficulty switching off or a constant feeling that something bad is about to happen. You may know logically that you are safe, yet your mind and body still feel on high alert.
Is overthinking the main issue for you?

Panic attacks are linked to the body’s fight-or-flight response. Your nervous system can react as though you are in danger even when you are actually safe. This can create a sudden rush of physical symptoms — such as a racing heart, dizziness, breathlessness, shaking or an overwhelming feeling that something is wrong.
Hypnotherapy can help you enter a calm, focused state where we can begin changing the patterns that keep anxiety and panic going. The aim is to help your nervous system feel safer, reduce the automatic alarm response and give you a greater sense of calm and control.
You won’t be rushed or expected to explain everything perfectly. We begin by talking through what has been happening and what you would like to change. Every session is tailored to you, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
In person or online — whichever feels right for you.
I offer hypnotherapy appointments from my comfortable therapy room in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, as well as private online sessions for clients throughout the UK.
Online sessions can be a convenient option if you prefer to work from the comfort of your own home, live further away or simply find online appointments easier to fit around your life. Whether we meet online or in person, sessions are personalised around you and what you would like to change.

Will I lose control during hypnosis?
No. During hypnosis you remain aware of what is happening and in control throughout. You can speak, move or stop the session at any time. Hypnosis is a focused, relaxed state rather than being unconscious or asleep.
How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need?
Everyone is different. Some people come with one very specific issue, while others want support with something that has been affecting them for much longer. At your first appointment, we’ll talk about what you would like to change and I’ll recommend what I genuinely believe will be most helpful for you.
Do you work with teenagers?
Yes. I work with adults, teenagers and children experiencing anxiety, panic, overthinking, low confidence, intrusive thoughts, fears and other emotional difficulties. Sessions are adapted to the individual and designed to feel calm, supportive and manageable.
Can hypnotherapy help if I’ve already tried counselling or CBT?
It may be a useful option for people who have already tried counselling, CBT or other approaches. Hypnotherapy works in a different way, using focused attention, relaxation and therapeutic techniques tailored to you and what you would like to change.
Can hypnotherapy be done online?
Yes. I offer online hypnotherapy sessions to clients throughout the UK. Many people enjoy having their session from the privacy and comfort of their own home without needing to travel. Sessions are personalised whether we meet online or in person.
Where do you offer hypnotherapy sessions?
I offer face-to-face hypnotherapy from my therapy room in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, as well as private online hypnotherapy sessions for clients throughout the UK. Daytime and evening appointments are available.
What happens at my first hypnotherapy session?
We begin by talking about what has been happening, what you would like to change and what you hope to achieve. I’ll explain how hypnotherapy works and answer any questions before we begin. The session is personalised around you, and you won’t be rushed or pressured.
Can I book a consultation before deciding?
Yes. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can tell me a little about what has been happening, ask any questions and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me. There is no obligation to book a session afterwards.
Your first appointment is designed to help you feel safe, understood and hopeful.
We’ll take time to understand what’s been happening, explore your goals and create a personalised plan that’s right for you. There’s no judgement and no pressure—just a calm, supportive space where we can begin helping you move forward.
You don’t have to keep struggling on your own.
If you’d like to find out whether hypnotherapy is right for you, book a free 20-minute consultation. We’ll talk about what’s been happening, answer any questions you have and discuss how I can help.
